Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 28 September 2026
These terms cover this website and ordering through it. The shop is B&C Kebab & Burger (BC Burger), Maritime Way, Chatham Maritime, St Mary’s Island, Chatham, Kent ME4 3ED. Orders placed on Just Eat, Deliveroo or Uber Eats follow that app’s own terms.
Ordering on this website
- Online ordering is for customers in the shop: collect at the counter, or table service when you scan the QR code on your table.
- We do not deliver from this website. For delivery, use Just Eat, Deliveroo or Uber Eats.
- We need a name so staff can call your order. Email and mobile number are optional. Give an email and we send you a confirmation.
- Your order goes to the kitchen when you get an order ID: straight away if you pay at the counter, or once your online payment is confirmed.
- Keep your order status page open or bookmarked. It shows when your order is being prepared and when it is ready.
- At busy times we may pause online ordering, and we limit how many orders one device can place in a short time. If that happens, order at the counter.
- We may cancel orders that look fake or abusive.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling. Menu prices are for ordering in the shop. Prices on delivery apps may be different.
- Options with an extra charge are added to the item price. The total at checkout is what you pay.
- You can pay online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay (through Stripe), by PayPal, or at the counter. Only the methods available at the time are shown.
- Online payments are taken on Stripe and PayPal pages. We never see or store your card details.
- If an online payment is not completed, your order is not sent to the kitchen. From the order status page you can try the payment again or switch to paying at the counter.
- We try to keep the menu and prices correct. If a price is clearly wrong, we will tell you before making your order and you can cancel.
Changes, cancellations and refunds
- Food is made fresh to order, so once the kitchen has started we cannot cancel it. If you need to change or cancel an order, speak to staff at the counter straight away.
- The 14 day cancellation right for online purchases does not apply to food made for you that goes off quickly.
- Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If something is wrong with your food, tell staff while you are in the shop.
- Refunds for online payments go back to the card or PayPal account you paid with.
Allergies
- If you have a food allergy or intolerance, tell staff at the counter before you order and ask for allergen information.
- Do not rely on the item note on the order page to tell us about an allergy.
- All our food is prepared in one kitchen, so we cannot promise any item is free from allergens.
Your account
- You sign in with a link we email you. There is no password. Each link works once and expires after 15 minutes.
- Anyone who can open your email can sign in to your account, so keep your email secure.
- You stay signed in on that device for 30 days unless you sign out.
- Your account shows past orders placed with the same email, including ones placed before you signed in.
Exclusive deals
If you join our deals list, we may send you offers and news by email and text. Every offer has an unsubscribe option, or you can ask us to remove you at any time.
